Revisiting the Paradigms of Teaching and Learning in the Era of Technology

Today’s world is regarded as a small entity due to technology revolution. Now, we can see great transformation in various aspects of life including education, economy, finance, industry, health, etc. Indeed, the call for new technologies in teaching and learning has become an obligation, because they certainly enhance the quality of education. In fact, adopting and implementing modern technologies into education is not a simple mission. It however needs individual as well as institutional change. Therefore, technology use in education will not be beneficial unless teachers and learners are willing to change. In this regard, this research study investigates the issue of teaching and learning in the Information age shedding light on both students and teachers as the main components of the educational system.
