Abstract
The aim of this article is to trace the contours of interruption as a specific type of interactional dysfunction, by identifying its various forms. It is a discursive procedure that is eminently crucial to the dynamics of interactional exchange, marking a decisive turning point in Moroccan media debate. Interrupting one's partner in an exchange therefore means transgressing the turn system and damaging the face of one's co-allocutor. Indeed, the form of interactional dysfunction is intimately linked to the contextual, situational and relational parameters of the interactive exchange. To this end, we draw on the terminological tools of the interactional approach (TRP, TCU...) to explore a corpus made up of two Moroccan television broadcasts during the COVID-19 health crisis, and to deduce the management of the interruptive exercise between the participants in the interaction.
